Percy & Reed No Oil Oil For Thick Hair

Using an hair oil is a must for me. I have long, thick and very, very dry hair. Which if I had to sum up in one word, well, it's WILD.

The dryness and thickness of my hair makes fly-aways appear even more so frizzy, and the corse thick dry hair that resides at the top of my head, it can look very damaged.

Lucky me hey?

Food: The Soho Juice Co

As the sun is cracking the flags (literally), we are all craving refreshing cool and specifically COLD drinks.

My Mum has been raving about The Soho Juice Co juice to me for a while now, it was the gorgeous packaging that caught her eye. She has a couple dotted in display units around the house, and they look so quirky.

When the company contacted me asking if I would like to try the Juice, well how could I refuse

Beauty: The Body Shop Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish & Glow Booster Microdermabrasion Review

I am back at you with another offering from the The Body Shop.

I was invited to their blogger event in Liverpool 1 the beginning of the May, and told the lovely ladies that my skin was a little dull, and they all raved about the Vitamin C range.

With a 3 for 2 offer on, I took full advantage and picked up 3 items from the range. Today I will be talking about the Vitamin C Daily Glow Cleansing Polish and the Vitamin C Glow Boosting Microdermabrasion

Food: Sweet Chilli Chicken Rice Rolls

With Summer here (errr well meant to be), I always 'try'  and eat lighter.

Nothing screams the weekend more than a Chinese takeaway, and I am not one for depriving myself so I decided to have a bash at recreating the famous spring roll.

I think I have made a half decent job at it to.

The trick is rice paper. You can find the sheets on eBay, Amazon and they are stocked at most Chinese supermarket's.

Food: Feta, Aubergine and Red Pepper Filo Slices

I had some filo pastry to use up, inspired by my love of Greek food, I kinda made up this recipe as I went along. It was a huge success. The slices where a little tricky to photograph as they are so delicate, but I had to get over this niggle, ( I ain't 100% happy with the image) and still share the recipe with you, as it is just so good.

Beauty: LVL lashes at Bloom Permanent Cosmetics Liverpool

So long fluttery, touching your eyebrows type of lashes, who don't want them huh?

Long lashes open the eye up, make it appear bigger and complete any make-up look. I love wearing false eyelashes on nights out, but I also adore removing them at the end of the night. I have thought about eyelash extensions, but just know I would end up picking them off.

I was invited along to Bloom Permanent Cosmetics in Liverpool to try a complimentary treatment. I decided to pick the * (LVL Nouveau)  Lash Treatment, which is basically an eyelash perm. It aims to to give fuller, thicker and longer lashes with added volume.

I loved the idea, as there was nothing false being attached to the lashes, and the treatment just involved enhancing what was already there.

Beauty: Madame La La Tan Review

I have faked my tan for over a decade now, and wouldn't have it any other way.
For me, the tanning products currently being launched onto the market, are just getting better, and better.

Gone are the days that we have to smell like biscuits,  look insanely Umpa Lumpa like, and worry about our legs looking like someone has threw Bisto gravy at them.

All been there right?

Beauty: Kylie Lip Kit Koko K Review

So I finally got my mits on the Kylie Lip Kit in Koko K, I had been eyeing it up for a while now.

But I am gonna put one thing out there before I dive into the review, I wasn't overly happy when I was stung with a £11.97 Customs charge.

Kinda took the shine off receiving something I had wanted for so long, but off I went sulking into the post office, I waited in a long queue,  and then had to hand over nearly £12 to receive the parcel, well can you imagine the vibe?

Food: Pea, Mint & Avocado Soup

Being a right little piggy at the weekends, I then try and lighten up my whole diet through the week.

I made a big batch of this Pea, Mint & Avocado Soup last-night, and I plan to have it for lunch, at work. It took 5 minutes to make, and teamed with some Crackerbreads with cream cheese on, well I have a feeling that I ain't gonna feel one tiny bit deprived.

Lifestyle: Expectation Vs Reality

We all have an idea about how we want our lives to map out, and the person we want to be. It may be owning a big house, travelling the world, being a Princess, (Disney one by the way), having a successful career, or being a straight up gangster rapper. (I know all the words to most of Eminem's and Tupac's songs, so am half way there right?)

When the pressures of everyday life kicks in, and it doesn't seem to be heading in the way that we'd hoped, or we aren't the person we thought we would, or want to be, well it is easy to feel down, agitated, worthless and pretty damn upset.

Estee Lauder is a brand I really love. I can't be without their Double Wear foundation and concealer. They are both the bees knees,  and I have more recently, been lusting after their new Advanced Night Repair PowerFoil Sheet Face Masks.

The recent Estee Edit in collaboration with Kendall Jenner and Irene Kim, was just WOWZERS, and it really displayed just how innovative and timeless the brand is.
