Beauty: Mini Skincare Loves

So, mini products, they just the cutest huh? Beauty monthly subscription boxes, free gifts with purchases, and all that jazz doing the rounds around the beauty world - I end up just throwing them in a big box, and never really give them any attention.

So I have picked out the best of the best of the minis in my stash, and have finally give them the attention they most definitely deserve.

Beauty: Zoella Le Fizz & Bath Latte Review

I was after a new range of bath goodies, and when the new Zoella range popped up on my timeline on Twitter like 50 million times,  I could not ignore the fact how bloomin delicious it all sounded. Anything that sounds and looks like food, well I am all over.  If you have been living under a rock, and don't know who Zoella is, she is the biggest beauty Youtuber in the UK, and has a legion of teenage fans, who I could imagine would have bought the whole collection as soon as it was released.

Food: Butternut Squash with a Bean Cassoulet, and a Creamy Pesto Dressing

The main attraction in this dish is the bean cassoulet. A really posh word for a stew type thing basically.

I have featured this bean cassoulet on the blog before recipe here if you fancy a nose.  This time around I added a small tin of chickpeas, to add a crunchy type texture to the dish.

I make a big batch most weeks, and freeze, I then add it to wraps, jacket spuds, rice etc.

As I get older, yup am 30 now. I am enjoying more meat free dishes in my diet, and this is one of my favourites. Not particularly the right time of year for butternut squash, but ya know it's tasty, and thinking about it I eat it all year round, actually more so in the summer, as it is lighter, and less stodgier than potatoes.

Beauty: Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation Review

So it's getting warmer now, I want/need to ditch the heavy foundations, but don't wanna drop that heavy, border line, caked on coverage. Oh the dilemma?

Getting some bits on Cult Beauty, and taking full advantage of the free Summer gift bag that was on offer, I stumbled across the Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation, the description sounded like everything I was looking for,  and more. "Aqua" screams hydration, "Luminous" screams super dreamy glowy skin, something I crave every damn day, given my skin is as dry as dust.

Food: Holland & Barrett CoCo Loco Campaign - Honey, Lemon & Coconut Biscuits

In collaboration with Holland & Barrett, and their Summer Coco Loco Campaign I was challenged to create a recipe using Coconut based ingredients.

When browsing the Holland & Barrett website I could not believe the array of Coconut products on sale, for example: Coconut flour, Coconut butter and Coconut jam. I was especially excited to get my mits on the Coconut flour, as I use plain flour a lot - and was after sourcing a more healthier, and less stodgy alternative.

Lifestyle: Embracing Our Differences

The most singular thing I love about other humans, is that we are all different.

Some people love to travel the world, meet new people, see new places. Some people like to stay at home, visit the same places, and be close to their loved ones. Some people live to work, some people work to live. Things that I find interesting, you necessarily wouldn't. Some love make-up and reading magazines, some people like watching the Opera and reading Shakespeare. Some love to be the centre of attention, some would rather sit and observe.

Beauty: Dressing Table Details

Every blue moon  my dressing table looks like the below, (fist pump) opposed to an utter explosion of cotton pads, nail varnish stains, and make-up scattered all over it.
So I thought I would chat about the non make-up details that live on my make-up dresser, whilst we can actually see them.

Food: Baked Feta Cheese With Tomato, Beetroot & Pomegranate Seeds

This is just Summer all wrapped up in one cheesy and luxurious bite.

Perfect as a show stopper at a BBQ, or taking centre stage at a light dinner party. I love it on crackers, fresh bread or alone with a salad, I promise you won't be disappointed. The sweetness of the tomatoes, pomegranate and the rich earthy taste of the beetroot, works wonderfully alongside the creaminess of the Feta cheese.

Let's get cracking.

Beauty: Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye Cheek Palette in Fair/Light

So, I am obsessed with palettes at the moment. First off, they are so easy to just lash in your bag when on the go or travelling. An array of different products housed in one place. Seriously, what could be better?

I had my eye on the Charlotte Tilbs Instant In a Look Palette. I visited the counter in Liverpool and honestly, I just wasn't blown away, nor could I muster up the urge to hand over £49 for it. Now I love the Tilbs, but this palette wasn't for me.

Then a couple of weeks later I seen the Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette pop up on my Instagram and just fell in love. Everything about it, from the gold packaging, large mirror and all the shades particularly in the fair/light palette made me squeal. I made a quick order via the Stila website, and the palette was with me two days later. At the reasonable price of £28, you get 4 eyeshadows, a highlighter/eyeshadow and two blushes.

Oh and just look at the packaging, damn there are no words.

Food: Summer Fruit Overnight Granola

How yummy does this look?

It takes around 5 minutes to prepare, and I usually make this the night before, so I have breakfast all ready and waiting.  I 100% prefer it the next day, as all the fruit has soaked into the granola, and it just tastes gorgeous.

Beauty: Deciem Hylamide HA Blur Prismatic Surface Hydrator Primer Review

Today I am talking about a little beauty that is doing the rounds at the moment The Hylamide HA Blur Primer*  It is a face primer that claims to plump skin, minimise pores and hydrate, but its big claim is that this is all achieved,  without the use of silicone.

So I ain't gonna lie, I think we all have at least one of the above issues we would like to address??

Mine would be plumping them fine lines to kingdom come.

So shhhhhh I got some something to tell you, you're gonna bloomin love this!!
