Food: Sweet Potato, Aubergine & Turkey Bake

This recipe is so quick to make, and the flavours packed into each layer are just delightful.

If you are a regular reader of this blog then you will know I use fresh chilli on a lot of my dishes. It ain't half as scary as it looks, and with this dish particularly, I feel it is a key component as it adds a kick, crunch and a lovely warming flavours against the cheesy sweet potato and aubergine topping.

This takes 10 minutes to make, and the oven does the rest.

Lets get cracking.

Beauty: The Body Shop Oils Of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil

If you are a tad partial to popping over to this neck of the woods, you may know that my favourite "must have" skincare item that I added to my night-time routine in recent years, is a facial oil. The difference it has made to my skin condition, and appearance is astounding.

I picked the The Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil around four weeks ago now. I initially was drew in by the packaging, but then on further inspection reading the description - I knew I had to try it.

Food: The Health File - Including Free PDF Sample Download

Ahhhh food, one of life's most precious gifts. I love it so much, (no big revelation there) but I am also constantly "trying" to improve my diet and health, and exploring new ways to enjoy tasty food. I feel so down when I am eating rubbish. Over the years I have become so conscious about my diet, and strive to feed my body, on the whole - with as much goodness as poss.

To be able to cook basic healthy meals for ourselves and families, I feel, is just as important as getting up and going to work.  But I do get it isn't that easy for some people. Some people feel they don't have the time, money or worst of all -  the skills to cook.

I was self-taught, and made some horrific meals along the way.
So basically if I can do it, anyone can.

If you want to lose weight, eat better, learn to cook, or just love food but looking to improve your diet,  well this is a great place to start.

Beauty: Skinova Acropass Eyezone Care Patches Review & Giveaway

Today I am going to be chatting about the Acropass EYEZONE CARE* patches.

I was so excited to try these,  I only use an eye cream, and I have never used any type of patch before. At the moment my eye area is in good nick, and I have never really suffered with any bags, fine lines or puffiness. But after a couple of late nights, a month or so ago with nights out, being poorly and working a lot, well damn, my eye area did start to look, and feel a little out of sorts.

Then these landed on my desk. What perfect timing?

Happy to be Alive!

It can be so, so, so, so easy to get stuck in a rut, and to forget the one obvious amazing aspect of our life - how incredibly lucky it is to be alive, and live another day with the people we love.
A bit dramatic yes, but tis true!

Beauty: Getting Rid Of Spots

So the majority of us have all been there, it's not a happy place when the little rascals pay us a visit. If you ain't been there, well sorry you are now banished from the post! (Joke, am just jel).

I have been doing something different for the past 7 weeks now, and thought I would share.

My skin has been completely clear, radiant and blemish free for around 4 weeks. So the changes started to show after doing all the below for 3 weeks.

Food: Chilli & Lime Corn on the Cobs

I first tried these Chilli & Lime Corn on the Cobs in Glastonbury around 4 years ago now.

All wrapped up in foil, piping hot, devouring these in the blazing sunshine, in the middle of a field listening to amazing music with good friends. Well as you can imagine - it brings back marvellous memories.

I recreated these Chilli & Lime Corn on the Cobs this week, and ohhhhhh wow. So good.

Food: Stuffed Courgette Boats With King Prawns & Feta

I had lots of feta cheese and courgette left over, after I made this delicious recipe here

I have a couple of events coming up, so I am following a low-carb diet at the moment. I find it so easy to do, but you do have to substitute the carbs with something robust.

This recipe is just the perfect example.

Beauty: Dinki Belle Nail Wraps

Lately I find applying nail polish such a chore, I take my time and give myself a full manicure, only the next day for it to be all chipped.  I love shellac, but I don't like my nails after it has come off - so I was in a little bit of a pickle. Until I discovered *Dinki Belle Nail Wraps.

Now I know nail wraps aren't a new thing, but I never really considered using them. Was they fiddly? Did they stay on? All questions I asked myself. All I can say is, I am so glad I finally gave them a whirl.

Food: Courgette and Feta Fritters

I am going through a stage of putting feta cheese in, and on everything. These were an experiment as I just love burger type dishes. You always feel so full and happy after :o)

I decided to substitute the meat for feta, and lighten up the whole recipe by added grated courgette and cauliflower to bulk them out. So they ain't actually burgers more of a fritter - but still so, so tasty.
