Beauty: DGJ Organics Argan Oil Hair Range Review

I like to switch up my hair-care products, and had recently got stuck in a rut using the same products for months on end.  I had seen DGJ Organics Hair Products* doing the rounds online, and this particular range sounded right up my street.

Food: King Prawn Thai Curry Recipe

I love Thai food, Thai Curry is well known and well loved. I 99% of the time make my own stock, using low-fat coconut milk, thai curry paste, fresh ginger, chilli and garlic. I order my food shop online, and when delivered this week there was a tin of Asda Good & Counted Thai Chicken Soup. I never ordered it, so must have been a mistake and the little rascal jumped in my bag -but I was intrigued to see that it was only 4 SmartPoints on Weight Watchers for the whole tin.

Beauty: Current Make-up Loves

I love how we all go through phases of being obsessed with certain make-up products. Be it a lipstick, mascara or foundation. There is nothing better than really loving a product, and it doing its thang. I have decided to chat about my current loves today- so lets dive in.

Food: Celeriac Patas Bravas Recipe

Patas Bravas are just delicious, most people don't bother making this well loved Spanish dish at home. I do get it's more of a dish that's ate when people eat out - or on holiday. They are so, so easy to make though, so I thought I would share my recipe.

I have made this version a hell of a lot lower in fat, due to substituting potatoes for celeriac.

Lifestyle: Dealing With The Bad Days.

We all go through hard and sad times in this lifetime, some more than others.
Sad and bad things happen in this world that we cant explain, and they can make us feel incredibly down.

Bringing this back to a more personal context, what do we do when people, or circumstances upset us, or make us angry?

Beauty: Base Product Recommendations .

If your base isn't up to scratch, well nothing there after - like foundation, powder is gonna ever look right. Prepping the skin prior to slapping it all on -  I have found is worth every minute.
Here are some products that I just couldn't be without.

Beauty: Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet -Dont Pink Of It

I really love the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Matte lip products!

That 's a bit of a mouthful huh?

They are not for everyone, and I feel are very much like marmite. So onto the dislikes where I feel you might be put off -  I don't really like the smell, and the texture is well lets say - a little weird.

Food: The Low-Fat Pizza Tip

Currently my little boys favourite meal. I love that he loves pizza as we always make our own, and I sneak grated carrot, tomatoes under all the cheese and he is non the wiser.

Food: Roasted Lemon & Thyme Cod with Bean Cassoulet

It is so easy to eat the same meals we know, and love. Once a week I always try and cook something I haven't tried before. I also am on a desperate mission to incorporate more fish into my diet, so i came up with this creation.

Food: Feta, Fig and Balsamic Tarts

One thing I love, and miss so much when following any healthy eating plan is PIE.
I am all over the fact that filo pastry has a lot less fat in, compared to shortcrust and puff pastry.

Filo pastry filled with lots of veggies can be a low-fat and very tasty meal - so give me all the filo.
